Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano will have ample time to let his injured hand heal.

Per MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, the eight-time All-Star’s fractured right hand will require surgery.

MLB announced Tuesday that Cano has been suspended 80 games after testing positive for a banned substance.
